About the Talk: Research has shown that trees are talking, fighting and making deals underground. How? Fungi around tree roots provide each tree with nutrients and the tree gives the fungi sugars. But this connection isn't just with one tree and one fungi. By plugging into the underground network — or the Wood Wide Web as it has been nicknamed — trees can share resources with one another.
