The Danger of Beech Leaf Disease

It is clear that we are facing the onset of Beech leaf disease, but at the same time scientists and arborists have another challenge — no one knows what, exactly, Beech leaf disease is. All research into discovering whether it is a virus, bacteria or fungus have come back negative. So while scientists believe the Beech tree could be facing a plague, no one is quite sure how to battle it.
